ERGON promises to make a better and greener Bangladesh. Our approach to environmental management enables us to detect and avoid potential environmental impacts at an early stage. The environmental plans contain a clear set of objectives and concrete activities to be carried out as per the guideline set by the national regulatory bodies and ISO. Its manufacturing plants have instituted an internationally accepted Environmental Management System to restrict pollution activities.


The purposes of the policy are:



  1. To implement a comprehensive and sustainable system for managing all environment-related activities.

  2. To raise environmental awareness in ERGON and help to reduce the negative environmental impact of the organization's operations.

  3. To continuously improve the organization’s environmental performance.

  4. To integrate environmental protection as a corporate value into each organization’s philosophy.

  5. To raise awareness and the level of knowledge among employees and customers concerning environmental topics.

  6. To present the environmental performance and activities of the organization both internally and externally.

  7. ERGON highly discourages launching products in plastic sachets. On the other hand, initiatives are ongoing to reduce plastic consumption, and recycling of plastic is encouraged to be more responsible towards the environment.

  8. We are placing incinerators in our factories to be more responsible towards the environment. The first unit is already installed at Rupshi Plant for use.

  9. Paper packs are under exploration for washing powder category products; this will reduce a significant of poly pack usage.


We are widely recognized nationally and internationally as a pro-employee corporate business house. Our dedication lies in health, education, and empowerment for our employees. The employees along with their family members are provided with health care facilities.
